WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?

Reformer Pilates is a full-body workout performed on a specialised machine called the reformer. Using spring-based resistance, the reformer supports and challenges the body at the same time, allowing movements to be controlled, precise, and highly effective.

This method focuses on building core strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall alignment. Exercises are low-impact yet powerful, making reformer Pilates ideal for improving posture, increasing muscle tone, and developing long, lean strength without added strain on the joints.

HOW ARE CLASSES TAUGHT?

In a Haus of Contrology class, you’ll experience a mindful, full-body Pilates workout tailored to your level. During class, you’ll feel your muscles engage, your body lengthen, and your movements become more controlled and precise. After class, expect to feel strong, energised, and aligned — with a sense of calm, focus, and connection that stays with you long after you leave the studio.

The benefits of Reformer Pilates

Haus of Contrology classes strengthen and tone your entire body while improving flexibility, posture, and core stability. Beyond the physical, they enhance balance, body awareness, and overall alignment, helping you move more efficiently in daily life.

Regular practice leaves you feeling energised, centered, and confident, with a sense of calm and presence that carries off the reformer and into your day.

OUR METHODS OF TEACHING

At Haus of Contrology, we keep classes small — one instructor for every eight clients — to ensure personalised attention. Your instructor will lead from the front, guiding you through each movement while walking around to offer realignment, support, and corrections as needed. We use premium Onyx equipment and props to make each exercise accessible and manageable for all ages and abilities, so everyone can move safely and effectively. Classes conclude with a moment of calm and presence, giving you space to reset before stepping back into your day. You’ll leave feeling strong, balanced, aligned, and centered, carrying that sense of focus and energy with you.
